BASIC KNOWLEDGE
At EBIKE100, our e-bikes are designed with real-life needs in mind — especially for delivery riders, commuters, and leisure cyclists. Whether you're working long shifts, commuting across the city, or enjoying a weekend ride, our bikes offer the reliability, comfort, and efficiency you need.
1. Purpose-Built for Delivery
Our e-bikes are engineered with reinforced frames, extended battery life, and strong load capacity — ideal for food delivery, courier services, or carrying gear throughout the day. They’re built to go the distance, day after day.
2. Versatile for Commuting & Leisure
While perfect for delivery work, our bikes are also great for daily commuting or weekend leisure rides. With ergonomic design, smooth suspension, and durable components, they provide a comfortable ride in all urban conditions.
3. Battery & Range
Our models are equipped with high-capacity lithium batteries, offering 60–120 km of range per charge, depending on the battery size (Ah), load, and riding style. Charging typically takes 5–9 hours.
4. Key Maintenance Tips
Delivery and city riding demand regular care. Check brakes, tires, chain, and battery condition every two weeks. We offer in-store servicing and support to keep your bike in top shape.
5. Safety & Visibility
Our e-bikes come equipped with integrated front and rear lights and high-performance brakes — essential for night riding and busy traffic. Always wear a helmet and follow local road rules.
ELECTRIC BIKES (E-BIKES)
You can ride an electric bike in Victoria, but you must follow the bicycle road rules.
Follow bicycle road rules
E-bike riders must follow the same road rules that apply to regular bicycles. That means always wearing a helmet, not using a mobile phone while riding and using lights in low light.
Find out more about the road rules for bicycles here.
E-bike requirements
Like regular bicycles, e-bikes don't need to be registered provided they meet requirements outlined below. Riders do not need a driver’s licence.
Riding an e-bike that does not meet the requirements on public roads and road-related areas is considered operating an unregistered motor vehicle and carries significant penalties.
There are two types of permitted e-bikes:
-
Electrically power-assisted cycles (EPACs)
-
Power assisted bicycles with a power output of 200 watts or less

E-bikes with the following characteristics are illegal to ride on public roads and road-related areas:
-
e-bikes with toggle switches which allow the bike to override the legal power and wattage limits outlined above
-
an EPAC which continues to provide motorised power above 25km/h
-
any bicycle with a combined maximum continuous rated power output greater than 250 watts
-
a device with no functional pedals
-
a bicycle fitted with an internal combustion engine (e.g. petrol powered).
E-bikes with these characteristics can only be ridden on private property. They are considered an unregistered motor vehicle and heavy fines apply for riding in public areas.
BATTERY BASIC KNOWLEDGE
🔋Lithium-ion Battery Basic Knowledge & Safe Charging Tips
Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in e-bikes, scooters, and electronic devices due to their lightweight, high energy density, and rechargeability. However, improper use may result in fire or explosion. Please follow the safety tips below:
✅ How to Charge Properly
-
Use the original or certified charger
Avoid using poor-quality or incompatible chargers to prevent voltage or current mismatch. -
Do not overcharge
Disconnect the charger once fully charged. Never charge overnight. -
Charge in a well-ventilated outdoor area
Do not charge in enclosed indoor spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, or basements. -
Watch for abnormal signs
Stop using the battery if it overheats, swells, emits odor, or becomes deformed. -
Avoid charging in high temperatures or under direct sunlight
Never charge near heat sources or flammable materials.
✅ What is Australia Standard Charger?
✅ RCM Mark (Regulatory Compliance Mark)
This is a mandatory certification mark for electronic and electrical products sold in Australia, indicating that the product complies with Australian electrical safety, EMC, and radio communications regulations.

1. Meaning: The product is registered and meets the requirements of the Australian Electrical Safety, EMC, and Radio Communications Acts.
2. Regulatory Authorities: The mark is regulated by ERAC (Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council) and ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority).
3. Note: Power products sold on Australian e-commerce platforms or through official channels are generally required to carry this mark.
❌ What NOT to Do
-
Do not charge indoors (e.g., bedroom, kitchen, living room)
-
Do not use poor-quality chargers or modified batteries
-
Do not charge on beds, sofas, or near flammable objects
-
Do not use or charge batteries that have been exposed to water
-
Do not disassemble or alter the battery yourself
💡 Additional Tips
-
Regularly inspect the battery and cables for damage or loose connections
-
Store the battery in a dry, cool, and ventilated area away from flammable materials
-
If the e-bike is not used for a long period, ride it for about 5 km weekly and recharge afterward to maintain battery health
📌 Safety First!
A small battery carries great responsibility. Please follow safety rules to protect your home and loved ones.
